My name is Lan Ayoola, based in London UK.  Currently, an Erasmus project manager and work placement facilitator, my experience is broad, spanning more than 15 years. Formally a sound engineering tutor, the target group I predominately worked with was young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly young people categorised as NEET, young offenders and ESL, or students expelled from mainstream schooling. I also taught employability sessions, preparing participants for their transition from college to the workplace. In recent years, as a work placement coordinator, I have facilitated nearly 1000 work placements, internships and mobilities through the Future Jobs Fund, UK Apprenticeship and the Erasmus+ programmes.
